Apologies for the delay in posting this information, although many of you will probably be aware of the recent passing of the wives of two prominent members of Carlisle Rugby Club, Dr Craig MacFadzean and the late Mike Bewley.

Mavis, much loved wife of Craig, passed away before Christmas after a long illness. Mavis and Craig moved to Cheltenham a few years ago to be near their family. We remember Mavis with fondness and our sincere sympathies are with Craig and his family.

Joan Bewley, widow of the late Mike Bewley, who dies in 20921, also passed away recently. Evere since the passing of Mike, Joan visited the club regularly to place flowers at the foot of memorial cherry tree planted in the garden at the club. Our thoughts and sympathies are with her children and grandchildren following their sad loss.
