According to the Falcons website, Gary said it was an easy decision to extend his stay at the Falcons, and he has certainly made an impression in his first season in Premiership rugby. Unlucky not to be selected for England because of a neck injury, he is close to a return, and hopefully will finish off the season in style.

After leaving us at the end of season 16/17 with the Man of the Match award in the County Cup final and Player of the Season, Guy moved to Hawick RFC and was also selected for Scotland under 20s in their Six Nations programme.
Those of us who have watched him over the years as he moved through the junior ranks into senior rugby are probably unsurprised by his move into professional rugby, and we are sure the Falcons will develop his potential over the next two years.

It would certainly be great to see both brothers in the back row for the Falcons some day.
