Funeral Notice
We were so sad to share the news of the passing of Mike Laidlaw on 11th August 2025. We can now advise that Mike’s funeral service will be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Wednesday 3 September at 11.40am and afterwards at Carlisle Rugby Club. Family flowers only and please wear bright colours or rugby shirts.
Mike was such a big part of the Carlisle rugby family down years as player, youth coach and supporter. As well as his family and friends he will be deeply missed by many former players and members of our club.
The family wish to thank you for your support. Thay have been overwhelmed by the messages and support received; the rugby community showing its true colours once again.
