The team consisted of three stalwarts and five new team members: Thomas Brown, Harry Whittaker, James Farrer, Lewis Kidd and Will Woodruff. These boys have only been playing a few weeks, but their effort and enthusiasm was a pleasure to watch.

We won more matches than we lost but if I am being honest I don't think anyone was paying too much attention as most of the parents were busy nattering on the side lines, getting to know each other.

A good day was had by all, the boys were a pleasure to be around and the coaches did a sterling job for their first outing.

We are all looking forward to many more outings throughout the season.
